Mama + Mini Monday: Autumn Florals

Happy Thanksgiving week! It has been a mad house here trying to get everything ready for the big Turkey Day. I have felt like I have been working my booty off for days and have nothing to show for it… do you ever have days/weeks like that? I have been having a lot of these days here lately and they are starting to bum me out. Hopefully, things will feel like they are coming together soon! To brighten up my day, let’s talk clothes! ๐Ÿ˜‰

The inspiration for today’s outfits began with Ada’s dress. I saw this dress at Gap at the start of fall and just had to have it. A good thing too, because it is unavailable now. I found a similar dress here (this one is really cute with all the woodland creatures on it and with all the right colors, too!) I paired her dress with mustard sweater tights from Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised with these tights. They are super soft, thick, affordable, and the color is a perfect mustard. And since Ada is all about dresses right now, (which is the greatest thing ever!) I plan on getting a few pair so she can wear her dresses this winter.

For my dress, I wanted one just like Ada’s because I love it that much. But unfortunately, they do not make that dress in my size. But I came across this dress from Ruche. I love the colors and a shift dress is perfect for the big meal on Thursday. My favorite part is the tie in the front. It helps gather the fabric just enough to give me a waist without being too tight. The dress is still loose, but not baggy loose. I was very lucky in getting this dress because it just kept selling out. Not only did I catch it in stock in my size, but on sale and I had some store credit! Woot, woot! My shoes are one of my most favorite purchases from Modcloth. I have had them for several years now and they go with so many of my fall outfits. Here are a similar pair.

I hope you all have a wonderful week and that you are more on top of things than I am! Now I am going to go pour myself a glass of wine and write down my to-do list. Here’s to getting things done – tomorrow! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hello Fall + Cleo Madison Review

Happy October! I am so excited that fall has finally arrived! With the arrival of cooler weather, I have been pulling out my fall wardrobe and I couldn’t be happier! And speaking of clothes, I would like to introduce to you all a clothing company that I just adore. They are called Cleo Madison and they specialize in modest, fashionable clothing. Just my kind store! They offer a variety of modest, stylish items – from t-shirts to dresses. I love how everything is super soft and conservative (without looking like a grandma!). You can definitely find the most perfect “mom-uniform” here. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Today, I will be reviewing the Camille Striped Tee. I love navy and stripes because it is something you can wear in the summer or in the fall. The fit of this shirt is amazing! It is loose without it looking like a bag and I love how the sides cut up a bit higher. For a fall look, I paired the shirt with a navy utility vest that is my favorite fall staple. And of course, my favorite combo of white jeans and booties.

If you are looking for effortless, stylish, comfy looks this fall – check out Cleo Madison. Join their newsletter and get 10% your first order along with free US shipping! Happy shopping ya’ll!

Fall Favorites

Hello beautiful fall! I am so glad that you are officially here!

ada-fall-1

Fall just brings the best of everything – the best weather, the best food, and of course, the best clothes! The fall clothes for littles and mamas are so greatย this year. I am struggling not to spend every penny on clothes and accessories for us both! Why are baby girl clothes so perfectly cute?! Anyways, here are a few of my favorite finds lately:

fall-favorites

  1. Gray Dress – I really like the simplicity of this dress, plus; it is super soft. It will be great paired with some mustard leggings and boots!
  2. Little Pumpkin – I absolutely adore this sweatshirt! When I saw it online, I bought it immediately and I am so glad that I did. It is no longer available now! But here is a great option; I got this shirt last year for Ada. My pet name for Ada is pumpkin, so anything pumpkin related for Ada is a must have!
  3. Peplum Shirt – These peplum shirts are so beautiful and they look so cute on. I have paired this gray one with mustard leggings and she looks so adorable! I also really like that it is a onesie, no riding up and it will help keep her warm this fall.
  4. Floral Leggings – As you can tell, I am loving this floral pattern. It has all my favorite colors – navy, mustard, and pink!
  5. Hair bow – All the small shops this year are killing it with all the fall patterns! This one has been my favorite so far (favorite colors, remember?)!
  6. Dress and Cape – Isn’t this outfit amazing?! I have been looking for a navy dress and this one is perfect. And look at that cape! It is to die for!
  7. Hat – And of course, you can never go wrong with a hat! Especially, when you do not have time to wash your hair in the mornings! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Cloche hats are my favorite style – so classy and elegant!
  8. Mustard Cardigan – And everyone needs a mustard cardigan in their closet. So glad that Old Navy had this one for Ada. They also offer navy and red, which I really like, too.

I hope you are out enjoying this first day of fall today! Happy Fall ya’ll!

Just look at those two adorable teeth! ๐Ÿ™‚ย
